Digital camera question

Nocturnal

Lifer
I just got a Sony V1 camera and when I look at the pictures I recently took in the viewer the pictures are a bit blurry but they correct themselves. Is this abnormal or is this a normal thing cameras do? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like it's loading and showing you the preview, before loading the full image. This way you don't have wait to see what the image is.

My 995 does this with higher rez pics.

Ok thanks, yeah these pics I'm viewing are hella high. Sony V1 5 mp cam!!

Thanks for the reassurance that I needed!

Thanks!

A few people have said I should have gone with the Canon. If I was to go with the Canon I would have picked up the G5. I think the Sony V1 is more than enough for my needs. And if I ever get into photography I'll definately think about trading in my V1 for a Canon.

Noc, as a fellow Sony owner (F717) i can tell you that it is normal, for the very reason that Bootprint said. If you lower the resolution to say 1280x960 it wont do that I dont think, at least mine doesnt. Once I get above that it does the "double" load like yours does.

Nice pick on the camera btw... was a hard choice between that and the F717!

BRB....I just made a mess over myself at the thought of that cam 🙁

I want one so bad!!! Buy.com had 256mb (128 duo) sticks for sale a week or two ago also for around $55 :Q. That thing is just amazing!!! Nice pick of cams!

Also, to confirm with everyone else, having owned a DSC-S75 and a DSC-F505V, it will load, then continue loading the pic for you to view.
