Digital Camera Memory Capacities

Anyone know if the Canon A70 can use a 1GB CF card? I was unable to find the info on Canon's website. The closest info I gathered was that Canon sells a 512MB CF card for the A70. The user's manual only mentions 256MB cards.

Help appreciated

BTW, Buy.com has a 512MB Kingston CF card for only $29 after rebate, free shipping. THere are good deals for 1GB too.

Edit: Thanks FAQ Guy (answer below)

Strictly speaking, memory capacity is not a function of the camera, but actually of the card itself. The memory controller for a CF card is actually inside the CF card, not the camera, so CF card sizes are not normally a problem.

until you hit the FAT partition size limit... in which case, the camera needs to support FAT32.
