so i'm kinda pissed because i let my gf's mom borrow this camera to go to NY a few weeks ago. i got it back xmas eve and it has this error. its a sony cybershot dsc-p72 3.2mp camera. i get the error "C:13:01" and i have searched the error and found no absolute results to fix it. i get the error whether or not my memory stick is inserted or if its out of the camera.

someone plz help!

Upon doing a google search it really sounds like its a memory stick problem, but you say that it happens regarless if the memory stick is not inserted. do you have another memory stick that you can try and see if the error goes away?

edit: it could be the camera also.

I seem to recall C:13 is the error code that the Sony DVD players give when they can't read the disc. Must mean "Oh Crap" in Sony speak.
