Digital Camera Binoculars Recommendations

Does anyone here have any experience or recommendations? My fiance and I are getting married at the end of May and going on an Alaskan cruise for our honeymoon. I thought the idea of a digital camera/binocular combo would be a good idea...

If there aren't really any good solutions for a combo, I would also be interested in any tips or recommendations for regular binoculars as well.

what's your budget?

😀 those seem awesome

what're you planning on using the binoculars for?
is portability a concern?

lol those seem awesome but definitely out of the price range. I guess I should have stated it in the OP but I don't think I want to spend over $200 on a set. We are just using it for site seeing and possibly to bring along on any excursions we may do, so portability is somewhat a concern but they also don't need to be super compact either.

I really don't NEED a digital camera built in but I thought it would be neat. After reading a lot of poor reviews on numerous products I've pretty much given up on finding a nice combo for under $200. I'm still looking around for a nice set of regular binoculars though if anyone has any recommendations on those.

i've never bought binoculars before, but i'm kind of liking these

they're supposed to be german-made, durable, have good optics (for the price), and be portable to boot

a little information on what the numbers mean

it's pretty hard to have a small quality telephoto camera built into a (relatively) cheap set of binoculars 🙁 due to the size and weight limitations, when all things considered bigger -> more light (in a given time) -> better image quality

if you don't think you'll be looking at smaller birds under 10 feet away and don't mind something bigger, you might consider the nikon prostaff ($140), or the monarch 3 ($200)
