Digital Camera Battery

I just bought a Canon S110 Digi Cam, and i heard its pretty short on battery life. Im trying to buy a 2nd batter: NB-1LH Battery.

Does anyone know if the generic batteries are good enough? or does brand matter? I see them on ebay for like 3$ + shipping, im a little skeptical. Any advice would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Stick with Canon. That battery pack is excellent. It would be recommended by most pros that you carry 2 spares on trips - one charged, and one being charged in your hotel room or whatever. My Canon uses the BP-11, and I have three of them.

At that price you can afford to try one and see how it performs,I`m in the UK and have decided to go third party for my camera battery(UNIROSS,battery specialist) if I can get similar performance & save some cash here and there I`m all for it.
