Digital Camera Advice

Hey guys,

I want a digital camera for christmas, and i'm trying to pick one.

Requirements:
-Around (less = better) $200
-Must have optical zoom
-Can be purchased from newegg, bestbuy, someone respectable like them, where there will be no problems.
-Smaller = Better

I've been looking at
-Fuji FinePix A210 (good, cheap, no sound not a big deal, but seems BIG)
-Fuji FinePix A310 (Pushing my price range, unless you know somewhere better?)
-Hp Photosmart 635 2.1MP (cheap, looks rather Big also...)

dang....I bought fuji A303 for $150 at bestbuy on Black Friday. (sold it to my best friend at the same price that I paid for)
I can easily resell on that, that's why I bought it when I have a canon sd100 😀

Fuji offers pretty nice cameras at that price point. The A310 is in your price range here if you use the 20% off coupon that you can find on the net (can't give details here).

Plus, xd media is coming down in price a bit, like here. It's not as cheap as SM or CF yet, but it's getting better.

Yes it is worth the difference, it can be had for a reasonable price. $250 @ OM.com after $50 off $250 coupon.

tRaptor - This very same question gets asked at least 3 times a week, I am not kidding.

Buy the Canon A60 for $199 from Target B&M and get a FREE $50 GC if you buy it this week.

I got the Olympus Camedia 560Z, and have so far been impressed. $209 after rebate at Newegg. I'd prefer it to the A60 for more megapixels and much faster shutter response. Canon has more manual controls. Why again is the Canon one so much better? Albiet it is $30 cheaper.
