digital camcorder and soundblaster firewire?

I am looking at the soundblaster mp3+ and xgamer and I am wondering if I can use the firewire ports on either of these cars to transfer video from my digital camcorder to my computer? Or are these a different kind of firewire port?

I thought that was the point of having the firewire port on the card?? I thought it even came with some software for video editing.
