Digital Cable vs. Satellite TV

Just thinking of moving to one of these areas soon.
Anyone have any good experiences w/ either. Price vs. Options/channels/Service etc...

Just want a few movie channels and stuff.. no sports or the Total-All-Inclusive-You-Will-Never-Need-This-Many-Channels Option.

You get the idea.

Why get digital cable when you can get satellite tv for free *cougH* it's legal in Canada anyway..

I have had DirecTV since 1996 and have been very happy with it. You may want to comparison shop for price given your criteria. DirecTV's biggest selling point over Dish or digital cable is the NFL package. Since you are not concerned with sports you have lots of options. Digital cable does have the advantage of not fading out during cloudbursts.

Hey I'm in Canada and I've never heard of gettting legaly free satelite TV. What are you talking about, exactly?
