Digital/Analog Outputs of PC Video Cards

Hello Folks,

I am trying to determine if the VGA and S-Video outputs found on a lot of common PC video cards are outputting the signal in digital or analog form. I know the VGA is be sent non-interlaced, but what about the S-Video? My television has Composite, S-Video, Component/DTV, and VGA inputs. I'm assuming the Composite is an analog input, and maybe the S-Video, too. I have no idea about the VGA and Component/DTV inputs--as the manual says nothing and neither does the manufacturer, which is Mitsubishi.

Can anyone shine some light on this?
