Yep, if you count photodetector locations, but the X3 tech puts 3 colors in each pixel "spot" on the chip.

Oh well, the only thing that matters in the end is ultimate image quality at the desired image size.

This article (2000) says that no pixels could be on 8 feet x 4 feet prints taken with a foveon based camera. It says that the foveon is 16MP.
What? :confused:

That wireless doohickey looks nice. My mother is a pro photographer, we use canons (we have an EOS-1D Mk. II and a 1D (we don't need the added resolution of the s series for wedding photography, we still use our medium format hasselblad film cameras for portriat work)).


Anywho, we burn through cards like made, we have 12+ 1gb cf cards, and on some larger jobs we will be close to runnin gout of space . . . The wireless would be fantastic.
