I believe thats the model I have, I only use it for the temp probes tho, which are very accurate.

i have the digi doc 5, it is nice because it will tell you if a fan fails (like your cpu fan) and with 8 temp probes, it is nice to keep the temps under control

whats with the 40mm fan in the front of the unit? does that keep the digi doc cool? also, I ment the digi doc 5, but I think the only improvements made on them are that the digi doc 5 can handle 120 mm fans.

the digidoc 5 is also a harddrive bay. the fan is for cooling the harddrive you could put in there. atleast that is what i think it is for

I'm deciding between one of these & a baybus.Does the Digidoc give you quick & easy control of your fans, like a baybus? How many 80mm case fans can you run off this?

i have never looked at a baybus (isn't it just a bus that you can plug fans into? or does it have other features?), but you can hook up 8 fans, and you can set them to be always on, or off, or set them to turn on when a temperature hits a certain point. the digidoc also has rpm monitoring for the fans. i found it to be realitvly easy to setup.

not a user here - but my plans are to buy one & mod it so that instead of turning the fans OFF if the temp goes below that point, it'll just turn to 5v (or 7v, can't remember the mod right now)
