There is no more important cause for electronic freedoms and privacy than the call for action to stop DRM from crippling our digital future.

Why are people so against DRM? When implemented properly it works well, as in the iTMS. And is reqired to a certain extent.
More important issues with regards to 'electronic freedoms and privacy' relate to the DMCA which makes it illegal to 'backup' DVD's for example. Or the patriot act, by Bush that makes tapping phone lines and reading emails extremely easy for the US Gov.
