I'm trying to figure out what's the big deal with digg.com. I've been following Kevin Rose since TSS have been on digg since it was created, but I just don't get what makes it a big deal.

It's like Slashdot, but 10x harder to find stories because top ones have to be rated.

What is digg?

Digg is a technology news website that combines social bookmarking, blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial control. With digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.

digg has so many more stories than slashdot does anyways,


they all seem to have the same stories, but digg has so many more.
