Difficult Backup Scheme

Hello,

I was hoping I could get some help from you experts with a very difficult backup scheme. Here's the situation:

I have a web server that I need to backup entirely (every single file) each month. I need to do this Win2000 backup, a USB drive, and a boot floppy/cd. (The server is totally detatched from the network so that is the reason for the USB drive)

So, what I need to do is somehow create a boot floppy/CD that I can put in the server to boot from, then use the Win2000 backup program that will also have to be on the floppy/CD to backup the entire harddrive (including the files that would be open when the OS is up and running, which is why I need to creat the boot CD.

I guess what my question is: how can I make a boot CD that will do all these things and most importantly have the USB drivers for the USB drive on it so that can be mounted?

I appreciate any help, and if you need anymore information I'm happy to give it,

Eric

What I do would work for you. (I have it on two systems and on two client's systems.)

I have duplicate HDDs mounted in 5.25-in mobile racks. That makes them key switchable. I then use DriveCopy 4.0 in the fl;oppy disk boot mode and turn both drives on to copy one to the other. Takes about 30 minutes for a 80 gig drive. Then I turn one drive off and remove the floppies - and boot. It will boot off of either drive just by turning a couple of key switches.

You can also have extra drives in trays and keep a good one locked up. A total drive failure is resolved in about 2 minutes.
