Hello,
I'm hoping to buy a Samsung 470 128 for my 2011 MacBook Pro, but I'm slightly confused about the website where I've found it..
It's a Danish website, so it won't do much good to link to it, however my confusion has arisen after seeing there are 3 seemingly different 470s being offered, each with it's own model number, and I just wanted to make sure I pick the right one - if there's even a difference at all. The models are:
Samsung 470 Series MZ-5PA128B
Samsung 470 Series MZ-5PA128C
Samsung 470 Series MZ-5PA128/EU (it seems fairly obvious that this one is a European Union edition?)
The two first ones are priced the same, though they're about 15% cheaper than the /EU one and they're also listed as "New".. Are there different versions of firmware on the drives, or what is the deal? I've tried googling the model numbers, however this has failed to yield any answers..
It may seem a redundant question, and I should just pick whatever is cheapest, but since I'm running Mac it's fairly important to get the newest firmware since it can't be updated in OS X(?)..

Thanks in advance!

Go on the Samsung website and click support. Choose downloads, then storage, then SSD.

It will list all the 470's. If you click on one without a part number, click on the specifications tab and it will give you a part number.

You will be able to compare the different editions and see what comes with what.

There doesn't appear to be a "compare products" option.. I'll just give Samsung a call after the weekend, they'll probably be able to supply me with an answer.
Thanks anyway!

So it seems the B-suffix ships without an installation package, while the C-suffix does; this package includes 2,5-3,5 inch adapter + screws and some cables. Just ordered the 128 GB version of the latter, can't wait until next week! :)
