I just ran across a this YouTube video made by a guy showing a difference in water effects whether he was running an AMD or a NV card? https://youtu.be/aIbSeMcsOqA

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening? Is there a setting that he doesn't have set right? A bug that got missed?

Nice testing by that guy, definitely something wrong with Nvidia's pipeline. Odd that it passed QA like that

It's a free map editor (although its an advanced one i'll grant you) for a game that is only available on the xbox one, which uses an AMD GPU.

Not to say that this is to be expected, but I can certainly understand why it's not a huge issue. The forge mode is only meant to be used to create and test custom maps/game modes, it's not meant to be a full halo 5 play environment, though that's essentially what you get, that's not the product microsoft is advertising.

I agree that it's not a huge issue and is probably some simple glitch that will be fixed quickly and easily once it's looked at. I just brought it up because it's just strange.

It could very well be some sort of AMD specific optimization left from its XBox One origins, or it could just be some sort of coding bug.

I wonder if MS has released it for free in what is effectively a Beta form to get some free testing and publicity for a more fully functional version of Halo on the PC further down the road.
