different voltages between cores?

i currently have my processor at 2.75ghz and its at 1.45v in the bios, i'm using windows vista and when i open speedfan 4.32 beta 17 it shows VCOREA: 1.46v and VCOREB: 1.6v....is this normal? just to add speed fan has been reporting this for the last few versions of its software...

To hell with speedfan, and to hell with betas. If you have a dual-boot then check it in XP, otherwise I don't know what to say other than "vista + beta = wait for a finished version"

yeah i feel you on the betas, but when i used to run WinXP 32bit or 64bit and used speedfan non beta it showed the same thing...there was always a difference in voltages between the cores...

You don't have independent Vcore for each core on a 939 system. VcoreB is either a garbage value or mapped to something else.

Edit: Actually that could be right for the chipset voltage. My Nforce 4 is either 1.5v or 1.6v stock.

this rig is working fine...

i was just concerned that speedfan was showing two different voltages when i set one voltage in the bios, i thought if i set the voltage in teh bios to 1.45v the voltage in speedfan for both vores should be 1.45v and not just one

No one has said they know what's wrong for sure.

either gargabe value, or it's for your chipset...or it's a beta/vista issue (even though you used this with xp)...this is just what the reply's have been.

My vote is that it is a garbage value...I use speedfan alot, and I only use it because it is easier than mbm.

No, it's right. It's your chipset voltage; it's just mislabeled through CPU-Z on AMD boards.
