Hey there, I have an IBM T30 and was wondering if I could output a different resolution on the VGA out?
My LCD has a native resolution of 1024x768 and I 'd like a widescreen resolution of 1280x768 on another monitor. With a ATI R7500, do you think it's possible?

I'm not sure if the Radeon 7500 supports that, but it probably does.
My T40 has a Radeon 9000 and I have 1400x1050@50Hz on the LCD and 1600x1200@85Hz on a CRT connected to the VGA out port.

I'm sure it does, I have a thinkpad X31 w/ the radeon mobility, output to my 19" lcd at a higher res than the laptop screen. Heck even my old T20 w/ S3 Savage IX could do it.
