Different PSU types

Does a Socket LGA 775 motherboard use a standard ATX power supply connector or a ATX12V or something else? This is my first Intel build and I'm not sure.

It uses the same connectors as current A64 machines.

it looked like there was an extra 4 pins or something, maybe I misread that

Nada. P4s use the standard ATX20 (Or 24 depending on the system) and the 12V 4 pin connector which A64s use too.
