Different Login, Task manager, and Shut Down screens in WinXP

Win XP has somehow changed the Login and Shut Down screens. I initially had it set up to boot without requiring as password or using the user selection screen. For some reason, out of the blue, I now get a login screen asking for a password. This is not the usual Win XP login screen that lets you click on a user...it is dialog box asking for a password. I have to press "Enter" for the system to finish booting. Once in WinXP, if i press CTRL-ALT-DEL, I don't get the usual WinXP Task Manager...I get a "Windows Security" dialog box stating that I'm logged in as Office\Administrator. There are buttons for Lock Computer, Shut Down, Change Password, Task Manager, and cancel. If I select "Shut down" I get a drop down list to select either restart, logoff or shut down. I no longer get the box with the green and red buttons. Anybody know why Win XP decided to change this? I've never seen this before. How can I get the standard screens back? I have checked in Control panel User settings. The administrator is the only one there. This was a clean install of Win XP Professional, not an upgrade. I appreciate any help.
