Different CPU manufacturers?

How many different cpu manufacturers are there?? I know of Intel, AMD, Cyrix, and IDT.. if there are any others, would someone please let me know of them? thanks

Cyrix and IDT's Winchip are part of VIA. IBM and STM also make them.

does motorola still make them? compaq/dec makes alpha processors still.

Samsung manufactures some of the Alpha processors. Other CPU manufacturers are:
Mips
Hitachi- SH3, SH4, etc
Sun- Ultrasparc
IBM - PowerPC
NEC - ?(some CPU for handhelds)
Transmeta - soon Crusoe
HP - (can't remeber name of chip, is used in servers)
Motorola - PowerPC, 68XXX derivatives
Toshiba/Sony - CPU of Dreamcast 2 (name?)

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head, there are others though
