Different core clock in SLI?

So i am trying to sell my 7800GT CO and a person wants to buy it for SLI but he has an EVGA 7800GT( non CO) so it has a different core clock, however they are made by the same company. Is it still ok to have two GTs of the different models and if so, could he just down clock the 7800GT CO to his vanilla GT's frequency and be ok?

Just wondering THANKS!

it will work fine, the only thing that will happen is the faster one will automatically clock down to the speed of the slower one. other thn that that shouldnt be any problems.

It's suppose to downclock to the slowest one, but I suppose you could just overclock it back up again.
