different cable, differen sequence in crimping?

I recenlty learned the diff. between 'patch cable' and 'cross over cable'

when i got to work, and saw a 'factory made CAT5E' cable, the order was different from both 'patch cable' and 'cross over cable'

is there diff. between cat5, cat5e, cat6 cables??

oh, so...

for the patch/straight line... both end just have to be in same sequence..

but in 'cross over'
it has to be diff.

am I right?
