Different between ATI Radeon DDR Retail, VE and LE??

What is the different between ATI Radeon DDR Retail, VE and LE??

You can upgrade the LE to a normal DDR version, and the VE is definately bad. I only know that it's a crippled version, let the experts tell you why

Oh ya, the spec on ATI's website can tell the different between VE and non-VE. How about retail vs LE? Do they features the same hardware just that the LE had some features disabled??

The features I mean is the ramdac, freq, mem speed.... etc etc.

The LE has it's core/mem default clocked lower than the regular DDR radeon. The LE default clock is 148mhz, lower than the 166mhz of the OEM radeon. However, that can be clocked up with a tweaker without any heat issues. Also, the hyperz on the LE is disabled, but once again, that can be turned on via registry tweaks.
