Differencies among GPU manufacturers?

According to this article from SweClockers.com (I know it's in Swedish but you can look at the pictures), the Asus X800XL is a few (sometimes more than 10) fps behind its competitors, especially GeCube.

If it would have been one game it could have been disregarded as a statistical error, but this is true for ALL GAMES tested. And they were using the same drivers (Cat 5.10).

How can this be true, i thought all X800XL:s were the same except for cooling and additional features like VIVO and stuff??

Different device drivers or memory timings maybe?

But, as I said, they used the same drivers, Cat 5.10 (or what do you mean by "device drivers"?)

And doesn't all 256 MB versions of the X800XL have the Samsung 2.0ns memory?

Can someone explain this to me??

Anyone who knows anything about this??

Can there be performance differencies with same cards but different manufacturers, e.g. Asus and GeCube X800XL 256MB???
