Does anyone know if there is a significant or marginal difference between either of those models in terms of cooling potential and airflow versus noise dampening? My initial thought, like most people's, is that the V1100 is quieter but not as efficient in terms of natural airflow whereas the V1000 is louder due to the holes in the front (exposing it to the room's air) but has better airflow overall. Can anyone confirm, expand or make a rebuttal to that statement?
