Differences between versions of Linux and Open/Net/Free BSD?

I want to put one of these OS's on my computer and I don't know which might be the most fun and informative, etc. I've used RH 5, 6, and 9, and I think they are alright, but what else is out there? I may just end up using RH 9 again.

What are the differences? As I'm just a rookie, will there be any noticeable differences? I've already got the RH9 CD's.

They're all different OSes. Do a search, there was a BSD vs. Linux thread last week.

Basically, they're all good choices. Try them all. I have and found the one I like the best.
