What are the diffrences between the fisr version and the later versions?
Are the mobo color the same?(black)
Is the layout different?

As far as I have heard, the new ones come with a retnention clip opn the agp and thats it.

I've saw on the ecs site that version 1.0 doesnt support Athlon Xp's.

Is that true, if so/if not what problems have you had getting an xp to work on a early revision?

No it's not true, my one is K7S5A ver 1.0 but it has stickers XP on the board, now I have Athlon XP1900+ running as XP2000+@1650Mhz (138FSBx12) using chfsb.exe.

The only difference I know of is a new BIOS chip in the newer versions. The older versions are not certified for the Athlon XP, but this doesn't mean they don't work. My K7S5A is the very first version that came out and it LOVES my XP1800+. Very very very stable and it easily overclocks to 138mhz bus.

I also heard that the newest revision has a bigger capasitor near
the AGP slot that might caused problem with GF4 card.

Beats me. I have ver 3.1 and a 1900+ XP. Runs fine at 45-46 C. Has little XP stickers on each end of the zif socket.
