I know DFP is an older standard, and DVI is the reigning champ.
But theyre both digital, so they should both be pure signals. One would imagine that a converter could be bought and you would lose no image quality connecting a DVI vid card to a DFP monitor.
But is this true? I just bought the gateway LCD, with DFP connector. The card that comes with it is DVI. So theres obviously some conversion, but does it convert to analog or stay digital all the way?
