Differences between consultants and actuaries?

Consultants think they know what they're talking about, actuaries actually do.

😛

Really though, consultants is a very broad term. An actuary is basically a statistician.

like silverpig said, 'consultant' is a very broad term. in fact, actuaries is short for actuarial consultant. i think the question you want to ask is "what's the difference between a management/stragegy consultant and an actuarial consultant?"

am i right?
