differences between CCNA and CCNP

Both seem to have the same syllabus, but is CCNP more in depth?

By far. CCNA is Cisco's "Intro to Cisco networking" CCNP has three separate paths and is more like intermediate. CCIE is the next one which is "should know everything / can build cisco networks while sleeping."

Yes CCNP is more in depth it requires three exams to be completed to get the certificate. Like imagoon said CCNA is the intro to cisco network CCNP goes deeper into the cisco networking world.

definitely not they same syllibus at all

look on cisco under training.

ccnp is a lot deeper and covers advanced network topics.
