hi guys,

now from what I have read, the GT is just as good as an ultra since it has all 16 pipes and can easily be clocked to ultra speeds. Heck companies like gainward have golden samples that are guarenteed to oc that far. So why the difference in PCB? I mean there has to be something more to the ultra to justify the extra molex right?

This article gives some interesting information. Seems like the Ultra uses ~17 more watts than the GT during high-usage. Maybe 2 molex connectors give extra assurance that all the power needed gets to the card.
