I have a thunderbird 850. I want to buy an alpha 6035. My question is how much of a difference will i see in cpu temperature between a sanyo denki 19.1 cfm fan and a sunon 23.5 cfm fan. The only reason I'm considering the Sanyo is the noise level.

Thanks

I wish I could answer that for sure but I cant. My assumption is that you will get better cooling from a fan that can move more air. I myself am installing a fop38 black label delta fan on my T-Bird 800mhz. Its overkill but the cooler you keep your processor the more stable it should be. I would rather be safe than sorry so I am not even considering noise. Even though my tower will sound like a little turbo-prop airplane is flying around inside. Look at is this way, if my fan ever dies, I will know it.:D

The CPU temp difference would be about 1-2C. This is ONLY an estimate. Also consider the noise level of your loudest fan. If the Sunon is about as loud as that fan or quieter, there wouldn't be that much of a difference if you have the Sanyo Denki.
