Difference in temp btw. Ceramique and Intel thermal pad

ugh

Hi folks,

I currently have an Intel Tualatin Celery 1.3Ghz running with the factory supplied thermal pad. I just got a stick of AS Ceramique and was wondering how much improvement I'll get if I applied it on.

Thanks!

Ceramique, if applied properly, will give you about a 4C drop in temps over the stock thermal pad.

And so can ASIII, anything over the pad is an improvement...

But most are coming to Ceramique as is not as messy when applied, and during the removal process..

Cool. Thanks for the inputs. It's rather scary when the small fry Tualatin can reach temps of up to 51C. I'm guessing it's an internal diode reading. But even then, it's still scary.
