I'm currently using a 300W Sparkle PSU in a mid-tower case with the following, I think it's a bit of a strain on the PSU-

2 120GB WD HDs
1 3.5" floppy drive
1 DVD-RW
1 CD-RW
1 Modem card
1 Ethernet card
1 Radeon 8500 video card
2 512MB PC2100 DDR memory
1 AMD XP1800+ CPU

I was using a Vantec copper HSF (LOUD) but recently upgraded to an SLK 800 w/Panaflo L1A fan to help some of the noise. Not only did it make a major dent in the noise level, but my avg CPU temp appears to have dropped 7 degrees C! The other part of my upgrade was to get the new Seasonic Super Silencer 400W PSU that lots of folks have been chatting up. The company that I ordered from sent me the previous model in error, the Seasonic SS-400FS and I'm wondering if I should just keep it rather than wait a week for the right one to be shipped. The SS-400FS gets a 7+ rating on quietness from SilentPCReview and the Super Silencer gets an 8. Can anyone with good experience in the PSU area give me a first hand opinion?

Thanks :D
