A big feature of the Nehalem-EX and Westmere-EX "RISC Replacement" Xeons are their RAS capabilities, such as Machine Check Architecture and memory error detection and correction, but according to this whitepaper I found (although it's old, from 2005) most of these are also present in "vanilla" Xeon and apparently have been for some time. What are the real differences as far as RAS features are concerned between the UP/DP Xeons on Socket 1366 and the MP Xeons on Socket 1567?
