Difference in performance between 1.5 GB's and 2.0 GB's of ram

most people want 2gb in 2x1gb sticks so they can keep dual channel, you on the other hand have a 754 system, so dual channel is not a concern.....so i think 1.5gb should be fine
 
I found out that I just have the "low-latency" Patriot ram version, while this is the "extreme performance" version. Any compatability issues there? They're rated the same, so I wouldn't think so.

Also, if I get this I think all 3 heatsinks (for the ram) would touch...is this bad?
