Difference btwn GA-P55A-UD3 and GA-P55A-UD3P?

Almost ready to buy, but wanted to make sure I'm buying the right one. Having the "P" in the model name just means it comes with the TPM chip correct?

1. Is that the only difference between the two?
2. Do I really need it?

Compared to the UD3, the UD3P has more ports on the back IO panel, more phases for the CPU, and support for TPM encryption. You probably don't really need the TPM or the extra power phases, but if you want eSATA ports on the back of your computer, get the UD3P.

Thanks - What does the extra power phases on the CPU do?
 
Do you guys think that P55A UD3 cold power an i7 860 at 4.0ish 24/7 or would I be better off looking into a board with a little more robust vrm area. What does the board use of vrms?
