Difference between these two 7770's??

Ok guys im very confused. What is the difference between these two 7770's buy Sapphire? It has the same specs but looks diffrent. Is one better than the other? Newer?? I know the one below is overclocked, but there is a overclocked version of the one on top as well. Im buying one today.

The first one was the Initial version and was on a Stock reference PCB I believe.

A lot of companies are releasing basically "V2"s of these cards on custom PCB's that are shorter. This is what the Newegg link is.


If overclocking is your thing, the initial one will probably overclock better, but not by much.

I have had a few 7770s to mess with and I was able to hit 1200 to 1250 Core with all 3, but mine were all the longer versions.

That shorter was comes with a stock core already at 1100 though, so it may do just fine.
