Difference between these two 7600gt CO or KO. What 7600gt is the best?

stop forcing your veiws on ther ppl. a 7600gt KO is better cuz it has a heatsink covering the ram so your ram reamins cooler and your can OC it more.

Get this 7600GT...it's OCed a bit higher than the 2 eVGA cards and has no overheating issues :

The fan is a bit loud as it is on all 7600GTs so you may want to get a Zalman cooler like I did on mine.

you could easily OC the EVGA card past those speeds without voiding your warranty

im running the evga 7600gt CO at 610mhz core/stock memory speeds right now

Id like to purchase one from eVGA being their warrenty kicks butt.
So the KO or CO???!?!? Why would the KO have heating problems when it supposibly has a better cooler.

How does eVGA have a better warranty? XFX offers a double lifetime warranty which means not only are you covered, if you ever decide to sell the card that person would be covered as well.

As stated earlier in the thread, the only real advantage to the KO heatsink is that it's a bit larger than the CO heatsink so it is able to cool the ram chips a bit better. If you do some searches around on other forums you will see how many overheating problems people have had with both the CO and the KO version of the eVGA 7600GTs.

Also, if you were dead-set on getting an eVGA 7600GT then why did you ask if there was a better 7600GT in the price range? Doesn't make alot of sense to me.

I would say MSI NX7600GT VT2D 256E HD
It comes with a good\big cooler (my card idle 47 - 50C \ load:58) .
It get noisy when playing games ..
Full Serious Sam II . Support HDCP and VIVO .
I think it's priced 185$ @ Newegg

The KO and CO are clocked the same, 580/1500, but KO has a better, all copper heatsink.

I have an eVGA 7600GT KO and it is OC'd to CO SUPERCLOCKED levels-602 core, 1560 RAM. no stability issues whatsoever, and runs very cool even on stock cooler.

They have the HDCP crypto-ROM on there, sweet! So you just hook it up with a DVI-to-HDMI cable and you get full compliance? Kind of weird they didn't give it HDMI OOB.

On some 7600GT's, a bios flash is necessary. Out of the box, mine kept telling me it was not connected to the exterior power supply. I contacted eVGA and they emailed me a bios and problem solved. I had a friend who's card was flipping out w/ temperatures and the bios flash fixed him as well.

The 7600GT, KO or otherwise, should never approach those temps unless you have it OC'd to the eyeballs. If it does, there is something malfunctioning.
