Difference between these ram choices?

I am looking at building a new shuttle 939 (sn25p) system. I have everything nailed down except to things.

1) memory.

Is there any difference in these 2 choices besides price?
Choice 1
Choice 2

Also, do you think its worth the extra 100.00 or so to go from an AMD64 3500 to a AMD64 3800?

There really is no difference between the two. Choice 1 will work just as well. And just keep the 3500. You can easily overclock it to 3800+ speeds.

one has a platinum heatspreader, the other has aluminum

cpu: stay with the 3500 and you can probably oc to 3800 if you want to

Thanks for the info. If I get the 3500, should I get faster ram if I am going to OC it to 3800 speeds?
