Difference between the Thermalright HR-05 and SLI?

Pretty much as the topic says, what's the difference between the two coolers? Basically what I want to do is replace the NB cooler on the DFI 965 board (if I can ever find one in Canada!) with one of those, and I'm not sure which one I should use :) I'm never going to go SLI w/ video cards, if it makes a difference.

Thanks!

The HR-05 is designed to mount directly above the NB and is what you want. The HR-05sli version has the heatpipes coming out of the block and making an "L" shape. The Heatsink is offset from the NB by about 1 inch.

The SLI version will fit on a non-SLI board and vice versa. It's all about where the fins lay as to not get in the way of video cards.

Thanks for the info. So if I'm putting just 1 GeForce 8800GTS in on a DFI 965 board in an Antec P182, the regular HR-05 is what I wanna go for then?

Thanks.

Yes the plain jane HR-05 is what you want. If you use the sli version it will hit other components on your board (Memory, GPU, CPU-HSF) and not work.
