Does the SIII work differently on different carriers?

I was looking at the list of phones my car manufacturer recommends to work with their bluetooth and they list the T-Mobile and AT&T phones separately. They don't list the Verizon version at all.

There's no "special" hardware or software difference that I know off.

The following devices have been tested by Nissan and are recommended for use with your vehicle.
More than likely they just didn't test the Verizon version at all.

Hardware for US SGS3 should all be the same. The only difference for SGS3 phones are GT-I9300 (International GSM/Quad-Core Exynos), GT-I9305 (LTE/Quad-Core Exynos), and US Variants (LTE/Dual-Core Qualcomm)

The Quad core versions also have 1GB of ram vs 2GB of Ram in the Dual Core versions.

I've owned both phones and didn't see any difference in performance between the two in everyday usage. The Qualcomm with the Dual Core is very snappy (1.5GHz Krait) and the 2GB of ram will actually help it long term.
