Difference between Radeon AIW and Radeon 64 VIVO?

Now I don't see what's different. The Radeon 64 has more ram, cheaper, capture, video-in, video-out. Does it have a tv tuner (whatever that is! 🙂). But if the Radeon 64 has all that what does the AIW have that makes it cost more in spite of having less ram?

The VIVO features of the Radeon 64 are kinda tacked on. If you really want the VIVO stuff, go with the AIW. For TV out your monitor and TV must be on the same refreshrate and resolution, which is a eye hurting 800X600 @ 60Hz. TV works alright, but is kinda fuzzy. Also, the TV-in can only be on the same channel as what is on the TV.

The AIW's stuff allows it to be used independently from the TV for most things. The TV tuner allows your computer to functions as a TV and VCR. As for the other stuff on the card I can't remember. I'd check out ATI's site for more info on the AIW.

Well, the 64 MB use to cost more, but now ATI sees that there's more demand for the AIW, and not too much for the 64 MB, so they lowered the 64 MB's price dramatically.

And the AIW has better TV in/out features, audio in, and the TV Tuner is basically the part of your TV that connects to the antenna, the little silver thing, with that you can watch TV on your computer (AIW has TIVO-like feature).

With the TV you mean? Ever since the newer Win9x drivers, I haven't been able to get video desktop full screen...weird.
