Difference between Primary IDE and Secondary IDE1

The way my mobo is arranged,it makes more sense to put the boot drive on the IDE 2. Is there any reason I can't do this? Will it be slower? Cause any conflicts, etc?

Should be no problem at all.

You can do it with no problems but your HDD performance will be a lil worse.
