Does anyone know the difference between the Linksys LNE100TX and NC100? They both claim to be 10/100 PCI cards. Salesman at Best Buy claimed the LNE was for Windows and the NC was for everything else, which I know is a bunch of baloney. Anyone know what the actual difference is? I bought the NC100 at CompUSA, thinking it was the LNE100TX in a new package, and I'm wondering if I should return it. The system it's going into will be 98SE for the time being, but eventually dual-booting with Linux and maybe Win2k. Any help is appreciated.

My LNE100TX floppy has drivers for just about everything, so it's not Windows only. :) Not sure what the NC100 is. Doesn't the Linksys web page have some info?

Nope, I couldn't find anything about it on the website. It's labelled "Home & Small Office Network Card" in the new white/black/orange box with the Network Everywhere logo that Linksys is using. Also has a sticker "100% Compatible With Cable/DSL Internet Acess" on the front of the box.

I should also mention the box says "Technical support only provided for Windows 95, NT, and Windows 2000"

Anyone know the difference between these two cards?
