i seem to recall there is a difference is the speed of the IGP. its faster clocked or something like that.

the 8100 is your basic DX10 IGP, it can do video acceleration.
the 8200 says it can do HD video acceleration in addition to anything that the 8100 can do... and the 8300 shows no difference in the chart. But has a faster still GPU.
If I was getting it for basic gaming/hybrid SLI, then the 8300 makes sense, if i wanted an HPC, then 8200 cause of the HD video decode (or maybe 8300 just in case, to ensure smooth playback), if i was getting it for the hybrid power function (aka, use a high end video card that can be turned off) or for a system that will neither play movies, nor play games, then the 8100 makes sense.
