supposedly the black japanese version has enhanced colors? and better viewable in dimmer light?
... i tried search for more info on it ... but didn't come up with much.

I have these versions:
the black (japanese) ... how can you tell if its the enhanced or just a regular black one?
the milky pink (US)
the platinum

loaded up games on all of them ... did not notice are visible differences ...

any help would be appreciated. thanks

If you are referring to the original GBA (not the SP), then there is no difference, just the color of the case.

I suppose its stated because the Black isn't really available everywhere in the US, like it is in Japan, just a Toys R Us Exclusive.

I have a Black (Toys R Us) GBA w/ the Afterburner kit

actually last night i played for a few hours with the 3 diff GBAs ... and indeed I finally noticed the difference ... when I didn't have to strain my eyes as much to see the colors ...
the black one has a slightly richer colors, makes it easier to see.

I just got the black 'enhanced' gba from some dude here, and that was the second time i've seen someone selling an enhanced version on AT ...

so they do exist ...

i assume that these are the old GBA's... now that the new GBA's are out, who's really going to bother with the old ones?
