Difference between Extreme Networks Summit24 and Summit 200-24?

Both claim to be 24-port Layer3 switches with similar capabilities, but their prices seem dramatically different. The Summit24 (which has apparently been discontinued) still goes for around $2700, while the new Summit 200-24 can be found for ~$1500.

I can't find the difference in the specs. Does anyone know?

Further question: Do I need to purchase the "ExtremeWare" Layer3 software separately?

I've been reading about Extreme making lots of money selling licenses for upgrades to ExtremeWare with Layer3 support. Does this mean that the switch doesn't come with Layer3 support?
