im tryin to buy battles for middle earth but there is 2 kinds. there is a dvd-pc version and a cd-rom version.

can anyone tell me if there is a difference, and if so, whice is better.
thanks

The game itself should be the same. The DVD version will probably come on a single DVD disc. The CD version will come on several CDs. So if you have a DVD-ROM drive, it's better to get the DVD version so installing the game won't require swapping discs. The DVD version basically consolidates all the CDs onto a single disc.

I have the DVD version, my guess is there is no difference but the extra disks but I don't know for sure. As long as you have a DVD drive there is no reason not to get it. The less disks to keep track of the better. Plus the game is awesome, I have been playing it non stop for the last few weeks. 🙂
